President
A retired community nurse, Linda has been very active in her hometown with issues related to the elderly. She also enjoys her gardens and flowers.
Wendy is currently employed as a registered nurse in Western Massachusetts.
Tony van Werkhooven PhD
Treasurer
A retired consulting actuary, Tony enjoys work around his farm, which produces hay, firewood and lumber from a sawmill.
Gail Roberts RN
Board Member
Gail currently works as a nurse on the Behavioral Health Unit at Holyoke Medical Center, Holyoke, Massachusetts. She also enjoys her 7 grandchildren, gardening and traveling.
A retired nurse practitioner, Judy lives in the Phoenix area of Arizona. In retirement she enjoys golf and travel, and also volunteers as a reading tutor to local first graders. Judy responds to monthly emails from the TNSP-sponsored nursing students, and thoroughly enjoys her interactions with them!
Cherie currently teaches at at Central CT State University, University of Hartford and Tunxis Community college. True to the synchronicity of life, she mainly teach the prerequisites for folks on their path to becoming nurses! Microbiology is her favorite.
Cherie lives in Burlington, CT with Steve, her partner for nearly 10 years. He runs an organization for folks with intellectual disabilities.

Edith Aloyce Macha
Student Coordinator
In her role as coordinator, Edith works with TNSP students and responds to any student issues that may arise. Edith is employed in the Ophthalmology Department at Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Center. She enjoys reading and swimming.
