Happy New Year everyone! The members of our board and all our students want to thank you for your generous support this past year. We currently sponsor 29 students between the KCMC and Tukuyu Schools of Nursing. Seventeen students graduated in 2013, bringing the total number of graduates to 34.

We are excited to announce that the Tanzania Nursing Scholarship Program has been selected to receive a grant from Dining For Women. Please visit their website page for our program. The Dining for Women grant will provide funding for 35 students over two years, over and above the number of students we would otherwise sponsor.

We have some exciting news. Our 12 third year students at Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Center in Moshi have graduated and they have taken their National Exams in late August. They are now waiting for the results which come out in November. Most of the girls have gone home to their villages to be with family.
